Play The Witcher 3 in the cloud
Want to play The Witcher 3 but don't have a gaming PC? Rent a cloud rig by the hour, install The Witcher 3 with your own Steam account, and play it from any browser.
The Witcher 3 runs beautifully on a rented RigRentals rig. Because it's a single-player title, it works great through our built-in launcher — you sign in with your own Steam account, it installs, and you play. No gaming hardware of your own required.
The RTX 4090 rig at $2.00/hr is our recommended tier for The Witcher 3 — it delivers high-end 1440p/4K gaming with ray tracing and DLSS.
What The Witcher 3 needs on a rented rig
The Witcher 3 needs about 25 GB of extra storage on top of the included 50 GB. 2 hours on an RTX 4090 rig at $2.00/hr plus 25 GB of storage at $0.007/GB comes to $4.17.
| Approximate install size | ~50 GB |
|---|---|
| Included disk | 50 GB on every rig |
| Storage add-on | +25 GB recommended |
| Recommended rig | RTX 4090 ($2.00/hr) |

Install size is approximate and changes with patches -- check the game's Steam page for the current figure before you pick a storage option.
Which rig for The Witcher 3?
The next-gen update is genuinely demanding -- ray tracing and 1440p+ are where the 4090 earns its price over the 3060.
Worth knowing before you start
At roughly 50 GB it uses essentially all of the included disk on its own. Add storage if you want any room for saves, mods or a second game in the same session.
