Play Portal 2 in the cloud
Want to play Portal 2 but don't have a gaming PC? Rent a cloud rig by the hour, install Portal 2 with your own Steam account, and play it from any browser.
Portal 2 runs beautifully on a rented RigRentals rig. Because it's a single-player title, it works great through our built-in launcher — you sign in with your own Steam account, it installs, and you play. No gaming hardware of your own required.
The RTX 3060 rig at $1.50/hr is our recommended tier for Portal 2; step up to an RTX 4090 or 5090 if you also want to play more demanding titles in the same session.
What Portal 2 needs on a rented rig
Portal 2 fits in the included 50 GB with room to spare. 2 hours on an RTX 3060 rig at $1.50/hr comes to $3.00.

Which rig for Portal 2?
Portal 2 is from 2011 -- the base rig runs it at maximum settings without effort.
Worth knowing before you start
Source-engine games are among the best-behaved on Linux rigs. Co-op works, but both players need their own copy and the rig only hosts your side.
