Play Cuphead in the cloud
Want to play Cuphead but don't have a gaming PC? Rent a cloud rig by the hour, install Cuphead with your own Steam account, and play it from any browser.
Cuphead runs beautifully on a rented RigRentals rig. Because it's a single-player title, it works great through our built-in launcher — you sign in with your own Steam account, it installs, and you play. No gaming hardware of your own required.
The RTX 3060 rig at $1.50/hr is our recommended tier for Cuphead; step up to an RTX 4090 or 5090 if you also want to play more demanding titles in the same session.
What Cuphead needs on a rented rig
Cuphead fits in the included 50 GB with room to spare. 2 hours on an RTX 3060 rig at $1.50/hr comes to $3.00.
| Approximate install size | ~4 GB |
|---|---|
| Included disk | 50 GB on every rig |
| Storage add-on | Not needed |
| Recommended rig | RTX 3060 ($1.50/hr) |

Install size is approximate and changes with patches -- check the game's Steam page for the current figure before you pick a storage option.
Which rig for Cuphead?
Cuphead's hand-drawn animation is CPU/2D work, not GPU load.
Worth knowing before you start
Boss fights are frame-perfect, so this is one where stream latency is the real enemy, not the hardware. A short test rental is worth it before committing to a long session.
